The dialogue is easy; the poem at the end is harder.

• 火要熄了耶!

Huǒ yào xí lē yē!
Lit: fire want extinguish
The flame is about to go out!

• 師父說不能說話耶!

Shīfù shuō bù néng shuōhuà yē!

Lit: master say cannot talk
The master said, "Don't talk!"

• 那你為什麼要說話?

Nà nǐ wèishéme yào shuōhuà?

Lit: then you why want talk
Then why are you talking?

• 只有我沒說話

Zhǐ yǒu wǒ méi shuōhuà.
Lit: only have me no talk
I'm the only one that didn't talk.

• 莫說他人短與長,
  說來說去自招殃;
  若能閉口深藏舌,
  便是修行第一方.

Mò shuō tārén duǎn yǔ cháng,
Shuō lái shuō qù zì zhāoyāng;
Ruò néng bì kǒu shēn cáng shé,
Bàn shì xiūxíng dì yì fāng.
Lit: not say others short and long,
Lit: say come say go self beckon calamity;
Lit: if can close mouth deep hide tongue,
Lit: then is pratice Buhddism first rule.
Do not gossip about other's virtues and shortcomings,
Constant gossip beckons calamity,
If one can shut one's mouth and hide one's tongue,
Then one is practicing the first rule of Buddhism.
