Welcome to Chineseblast!

Chineseblast is a new non-profit resource for learning 中文 (zhōngwén), or Mandarin Chinese. It is unlike anything ever developed for studying a language. There are three basic functions of this site:

Submit a new translation project with video, audio, or any chinese related material you find. Or if you've got a better idea, invent your own type of project - anything goes!

With a Chineseblast account, you can edit any project on this site. Every member works together to help finish active projects, learning along the way. Best of all, completed projects will always be available for study and review.

Chineseblast is a growing dictionary of real culture. Search this site for any character or phrase and find examples of actual usage in video or audio form. Of course the more projects we have, the more powerful the search becomes!
